CDjunkie corporate profile
(or, questions no one has asked)
You may find yourself behind a screen of never ending progress bars,
and you may ask yourself, who is this so called CDjunkie?

Just me, a socially retarded would be computer nerd/metal head with a lot of records (uh, I mean CD's), a computer, and a little time to kill. This site is basically a lay mans guide to the sound track of my life.
      Who is this turd anyway?
Every goon with a service provider, a touch of narcissism and a need for acceptance has got his ugly mug's stud shot posted, and I'm no exception. So if your interested in putting a face to this site, then use this one. If you're really bored, click on it to
      take the virtual ~~pedro tour.
      How often does it happen?
I'll update something every Sunday, maybe it will be new reviews, or maybe it will be something internal that you don't really notice, like links or pages like this. But how much all dependents on how busy or depressed or whatever I was that week, so it's kind of pot luck. At any rate, there is plenty of crap to read in the archives if I'm slacking on the 10 most recent

      What's it all mean?
Not a whole hell of a lot really. Because taste is a subjective thing my opinion is basically moot, But I will say, as far as web sites go, this one ain't so bad. Plus if you think I'm an idiot, and I've bashed your favorite disc, then it's safe to assume that you might like another disc that I slam.

The Stink Eye - When you see this rating ,you can bet it's an interesting review.

Those who receive this rating, at least have one redeeming quality be it ever so minute.

A two is pretty much in the suck zone, and not to be purchased except under special circumstances.

There are many who fall into the middle ground, an equal share of good and bad, possibly worth a look.

To the better side of apathy is 4, and is definitely worth checking out.

A full bar is a sure sign of quality it gives me warm fuzzys just thinking about it.

The illustrious "bumpbar" - if you buy this CD
it could possibly change your life.

      What's my advice?
I would like to take this opportunity to step on my soap box and mention that the radio is evil, and is not to be listened to. (unless you live in a real city, which I do not) Radio only exist to make money - not to entertain you. The music they play is only a vehicle to deliver advertising to you, the hapless consumer. Also, the major record companies are all out to screw you. If you can, try these alternate venues for shopping: the flea market/swap meet, pawn shops, and directly from bands or their labels. Your selection is not as good this way I know, but you'll save a ton of money, and it will allow you to take more chances, which is really what it's all about.

      Can I be bought?
CDjunkie is an equal opportunity destroyer, but it's not inconceivable to earn one higher rating point by sending me CD's to review. Inquire within. However, I'm not totally a whore, and I won't give in to temptation and add banners to this site. I do it all for you, the anonymous CDjunkie visitor, requite my love!

      Who gives a crap?
Beats me, you hopefully, let me know what you think. e-me!!! Although it's not likely, since nobody bothers to write me in the first place, should you have the need for instant gratification regarding some trivial tid bit, or just want to dog me for giving your favorite band the stink eye, I am occasionally available on:
