Rob Base & D.J. E-Z Rock - It Takes Two - 1988
These two fools made a one hit splash with their title track and beyond that made really lame pop rap. I can only imagine these guys have long since hocked their rope chains and knuckle rings and are now squeegee men.

The Beastie Boys - An Exciting Evening at Home with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego - 1989
I usually don't care for re-mixes or EP singles, but the Beastie's rarely fail to disappoint. The packaging is outstanding and the re-mixes are as fabulous. Also, they put enough quality music as well as time to make it a worthwhile purchase.

The Beastie Boys - Gratitude pro mo - 1989
This little pro mo disc features one album cut, three really cool live tracks, and one goofy unreleased "song" about white kids, ice skating, and the Zamboni.

Adrian Belew - Lone Rhino - 1982
Adrian Belew was also known for his work in another band, who's name escapes me at the moment, Weather Report maybe. I basically got this album because it was cheap, and it had a song I liked a lot on it, "Big Electric Cat." The rest of the album isn't bad, but doesn't do much for me.

BGK - Nothing Can Go Wrong - 1986
Alternative Tennacles brought us this hardcore band from Amsterdam. The lyrics were a little better than most, and the music is pretty good too. The production is ok. All-n-all, not bad.

Boogie Down Productions - By All Means Necessary - 1988
BDP got the Guns, dope gold chains, and b-boy stance, but wait, there are positive messages, and little cursing? Side one starts off pretty lame, with the exception of "Illegal Business" which is freakin great, and there are a few pretty good songs on side two as well.

David Bowie - Low - 1977
An interesting album that is mostly ambient and is heavily influenced by Brian Eno and the Talking Heads. Uses Moog's and has the song "Sound and Vision" on it. Pretty experimental for Bowie.

Arthur Brown - The Crazy World of Arthur Brown - 1968
In retrospect Arthur Brown was kind of a waked out rock/lounge performer who was most remembered for setting his head on fire for his coolest song. In some respects, his music is similar to Tiny Tim's, but more like Tim's evil twin. The P from ELP played drums.
